DOWNLOADING OPTIONS |
It is true that not every Member will use the same method for downloading files, and that using one method will not work for everyone. For that reason, this page offers file download options that you can try if your preferred method does not work.
The simplest method to download a file from the Request page is to click on the link to the file and select either the "Open" or the "Save" option. In many cases, this option should work successfully.
If the above option does not seem to work for you, here are several others you can try:
1) Right-click on the link and select "Save Link Target As" from the resultant pop-up menu. You should be presented with a save window in which you can select the location of where you would like to save the file;
2) The Webmaster's FTP server will contain a complete record of all the files that are requested. Even though the web server will be purged of these files eventually, the FTP server will continue to offer these files after they are erased from the web server. Using your favorite FTP browser, enter the following information below and navigate to the file which bears the ID number, date, and name of the requested file.
NOTE: Please understand that this FTP server is not a dedicated server, and that from time to time routine maintenance is performed on it and the internet connection it relies upon.
ftp address: castor2.com
userid:
member
password: request
ALL ARE CASE SENSITIVE!
3) If none of the above work for you, please contact the Webmaster via e-mail using the link below, and we can discuss your particular situation in more detail.
