Jupiter's Moon Europa

Click for a bigger picture This moon is about the same size as our Moon, but it has no mountains or craters. Scientists wonder if there are any life forms in the slushy ocean under the surface. NASA has already begun to send a spacecraft to Europa to find out more about this very interesting moon of Jupiter, possibly in 2001.
Europa is covered with a smooth layer of ice that is crisscrossed with cracks. It is heated by tidal forces from Jupiter. The surface bends and flexes and water gushes to the surface and freezes. Cracks on Europa
